At Therapitas, we believe that all children deserve access to the highest quality therapy services, regardless of the language they speak.
But we also recognize that there are not enough bilingual clinicians to meet this need. That's why in 2016, we created the Spanish Immersion Program (SIP).
Candidates accepted into the SIP will travel to Antigua, Guatemala to receive Spanish tutoring from Latin America’s top educators and gain hands-on practice. They’ll have a truly immersive experience, living and eating with a host family and taking in the beautiful sights, sounds, and culture of Guatemala. All tuition and costs are completely covered by Therapitas.
Upon completion of the program, our clinicians return to Therapitas to continue their bilingual and bicultural development with the support of seasoned mentors, which allows us to provide the best care to our patients and their families.
